Digital SAT Test Registration
You can sign up for the Digital SAT online via the College Board’s website. Select your test date and center, and ensure that the details you provide, such as your full name and address, match your photo identification exactly.

Note: It is important to remember the SAT registration deadlines so that you do not have to pay more for late registration.
Steps to Register for the Digital SAT Online
1. Check Your Calendar
Choose a test date that gives you ample time to prepare.
2. Set Up Your Account
Register on the College Board® website using your legal name as shown on your photo ID.
3. Open Your Account Dashboard
Select “Register for the SAT” from your dashboard.
4. Fill Out the Questionnaire
Provide your personal, parental, school information, and location.
5. Enter AP Score and College Details
Optionally, add your AP scores and college preferences.
6. Select Your Test Date
Choose your preferred test date and center.
7. Upload Your Photo
Ensure the photo is clear and shows your entire face.
8. Choose Your Device
Select your test day device.
9. Pay Your Fees
Complete the registration by paying the required fee.
Rescheduling Your Digital SAT Test Date
The College Board does not allow rescheduling once you’ve registered for a test date. To change your test date, you must cancel your current registration and register anew. Cancellation fees apply.

For test dates beginning with August 24, 2024, the SAT registration fee is $68. Some students are eligible for a fee waiver.

Refund Policy
You can get a full refund of your SAT registration fee if you cancel before or on test day, subject to a cancellation fee. Refunds are processed within six weeks from the test date. Score report fees are refundable only if you are unable to take the test.

What are the acceptable payment methods for SAT registration?
You can pay for your SAT registration fee in the following ways.
- Credit card: American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, and JCB.
- PayPal Account: Create a PayPal account if you don’t already have one before registering. Ghana doesn’t support PayPal as a method of payment.
Are SAT test fees tax deductible?
No, the fees for taking the SAT are not tax deductible.
How to cancel SAT registration?
If you cancel on or before the regular deadline (test date), you will get a full refund of your registration fee, but you will have to pay a $25 cancellation fee. Or if you cancel after the deadline, the cancellation fee will be $35.
Note: If you cancel your registration and then decide to take the test on that day, you must re-register.
